Dr. Babak Joobbani

Dr. Babak Joobbani, DDS is a dentistry practitioner in Columbia, MD and has over 15 years of experience in the medical field. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Programming from the University of Maryland, College Park, before pursuing his passion for patient care at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating in 2009. Since 2013, he has practiced in the Columbia area, providing high-quality, patient-focused dental care.

Following dental school, Dr. Joobbani completed a general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center, gaining advanced training in prosthetics, cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, oral surgery, and implantology. In 2023, he earned certification in Facial Aesthetics. He is a member of the American Dental Association® and the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and has been recognized with honors including the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, the Gorgas Odontological Honor Society, and a Top Doctor Award.

Dr. Joobbani is committed to continuing education and using the latest techniques and safest materials to deliver optimal outcomes. He is passionate about providing quality dentistry at affordable pricing and prioritizes patient-centered care.

He is also dedicated to giving back, including volunteering with Operation Smile in 2009 to provide dental care to children in rural Vietnam.

Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Joobbani and his wife, Jennifer—also a general dentist—have two children, Aidan and Aryana. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, family time, grilling, smoking meats, and his passion for cars.
