Conditions We Treat:

Cosmetic dentistry offers a wide range of treatments to enhance your smile, improve facial aesthetics, and restore confidence. Whether you are looking for subtle enhancements or a complete transformation, our services are designed to address a variety of cosmetic concerns while maintaining your oral health.

Smile Makeovers
Smile makeovers are customized treatments that combine multiple cosmetic procedures to completely enhance the appearance of your teeth and smile. By addressing issues such as discoloration, misalignment, gaps, and worn teeth, we can create a harmonious and radiant smile tailored to your unique facial features.

Ceramic Crowns / Veneers
Ceramic crowns and veneers provide a natural-looking solution for damaged, chipped, or discolored teeth. These restorations are crafted to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth, offering both aesthetic improvement and structural support for long-lasting results.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Full mouth rehabilitation is a comprehensive approach for patients with extensive dental issues, combining restorative and cosmetic treatments to restore function, alignment, and appearance. This treatment plan addresses both the health and aesthetics of your teeth, giving you a fully functional and attractive smile.

Botox & Dermal Fillers
Botox and dermal fillers can complement dental cosmetic treatments by enhancing facial aesthetics and reducing signs of aging. Administered with careful attention to facial nerves and safety, these treatments help smooth wrinkles, restore volume, and improve overall facial balance, contributing to a youthful and refreshed appearance.

Treatment Process

The cosmetic dentistry treatment process begins with a thorough consultation and evaluation, where your goals, dental health, and facial aesthetics are carefully assessed. Based on this, a personalized treatment plan is created, which may include procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, crowns, smile makeovers, or facial treatments like Botox and dermal fillers. Each procedure is performed with precision and attention to detail to ensure natural-looking results, improved function, and long-lasting outcomes. Throughout the process, our team prioritizes comfort, safety, and patient education to help you achieve a radiant, confident smile.

Smile Makeover (Correction of Shape & Color)

This smile makeover involved cosmetic dental treatment to improve both the shape and color of the teeth. Using carefully designed restorations and aesthetic techniques, the teeth were reshaped and brightened to create a more balanced and harmonious smile. By correcting discoloration, uneven edges, and minor imperfections, the treatment enhanced the overall appearance of the smile while maintaining a natural and healthy look.

Transforming Smiles with Custom Dental Veneers

This patient received custom dental veneers to enhance the shape, color, and alignment of their teeth, creating a brighter and more harmonious smile. By carefully designing and placing thin, durable porcelain shells over the front surfaces of the teeth, imperfections such as discoloration, minor gaps, or uneven edges were corrected without invasive procedures.

Upper Smile Make Over

This patient underwent a comprehensive upper smile makeover to address severe tooth wear and a noticeable crossbite affecting the front teeth. Years of wear had shortened and weakened the teeth, impacting both the aesthetics of the smile and overall function. Using high-quality zirconia crowns, we were able to rebuild the proper shape, length, and alignment of the upper teeth while correcting the crossbite for a more harmonious bite relationship. Zirconia was carefully selected for its exceptional strength, durability, and lifelike appearance, allowing us to achieve a natural, radiant smile that complements the patient’s facial features.

FAQs

Who can benefit from cosmetic dentistry?
Most adults looking to enhance their smile, correct discoloration, chips, gaps, or alignment issues can benefit from cosmetic dental treatments.
How do I get started with cosmetic dentistry?
Well take the first step today! Schedule a consultation with our expert team to discuss your needs, explore your options, and create a personalized treatment plan to restore your smile and confidence.
What is a smile makeover?
When the appearance of a patient’s smile cannot be satisfactorily improved with Invisalign and/or whitening a smile makeover may be a superior option. To change the shape, color, and (in moderation) position of the teeth, veneers and/or crowns can be used to improve the esthetics and function of the teeth. For patients who are chronic grinders, a full arch or full mouth makeover can rebuild their broken down teeth to full size and restore the chewing surfaces.
How many teeth will be in my smile makeover?
The number of teeth included in the smile makeover depends on what the goals of the patient are. If they only want to correct the appearance of front teeth, 6 to 10 teeth may be included in the plan depending on how wide the patient’s smile is and how different they want to change the color from their natural color. For patients with worn down teeth all of the upper and possibly lower teeth may be restored to open the bite that has been worn down from grinding.
What does the smile makeover process look like?
The process starts by discussing the patient’s goals for their smile (better function, whiter, straighter, different tooth shape, etc). Then a 3D digital scan is taken of the existing teeth. Dr. Joobbani plans what the final permanent restorations will look like and has a template made to use to make temporaries. This allows the patient to try out their new teeth before the final restorations are cemented in place.
What material will my restorations be made out of?
There are different ceramic materials that can be used for smile makeovers. Zirconia provides the most strength and there are different versions of Zirconia that give different esthetic results. Depending on the patient’s oral condition, the appropriate material is chosen for both strength and esthetics.
Are cosmetic procedures safe?
Yes, cosmetic dentistry procedures are safe when performed by trained professionals, with careful attention to oral and facial health.
How long do results last?
The longevity of results depends on the procedure and maintenance, but many treatments, like veneers and crowns, can last 10–15 years or more with proper care.
Is the treatment painful?
Most cosmetic procedures are minimally invasive, and local anesthesia or sedation options are available to ensure a comfortable experience.
Why botox for grinding clenching?
Traditionally, dentists have used night guards for patients who grind/clench their teeth. A night guard is a rigid plastic splint worn at night time to redistribute the forces exerted during night-time grinding. However, putting a night guard in your mouth does not keep you from grinding, in fact it can stimulate you to grind more. Night guards also only work when you wear them. If you do not wear it every night, or if you are a day-time clencher, then the excessive forces are still doing damage. With botox therapy we target the muscles that are responsible for the undesired grinding/clenching and reduced their ability to contract. The patient can still eat, speak, and function normally, but the strength of the muscles is reduced to a normal level versus being overdeveloped. There is no appliance to get used to or forget to wear. THe botox works at night and during the day to reduce all excessive force that damages the teeth and gums.
What are facial fillers?
As we age, we loose collagen in our body. There are also cases where one’s facial features are inadequate in appearance. Fortunately we have Injectable collagen fillers which allows us to address these without invasive plastic surgery. Some patients are deficient in their chin. Rather than undergo plastic surgery, a chin can be augmented with filler to appear fuller. Cheeks can appear flat or sunken in. Filler can augment cheeks to give the appearance of higher cheek bones. Temples can look hollow and can be smoothed with filler as well. Lips can look thin, dry, flat. Fillers are used to give proper volume to lips.
What is a liquid face lift?
A liquid face lift is a term used to describe the utilization of botox and dermal fillers together to restore features to a more youthful appearance. As we age we lose volume in areas of our face and develop creases/wrinkles where our skin folds from movement. Adding filler to areas that have become deficient in volume and using botox to decrease certain facial movements takes years or even decades off one's appearance.
Why should I see a trained dentist for my facial botox and fillers?
Dr. Babak and Dr. Jenni Joobbani are uniquely qualified to provide therapeutic and esthetic injectables due to their years of extensive training learning the details of facial anatomy. There are many nerves and arteries bunched tightly together in the face/head area. These critical areas must be navigated appropriately to prevent any complications of cosmetic injectable. Dentists know these areas better than any other profession. MedSpa injectors do not have these years of advanced training. We can guarantee a safe and beautiful treatment outcome when you see us for these procedures.
